Golden-amber in color. Light body, very drinkable. Just a little bitterness and a touch of tannins. Not an all-out assault of bitternes; more of a recon that retreats easily for a palatable finish. All in all, good brew for the value. LadySusan (475), Ste-Therese, Quebec, Canada

You finish with a bit of a bitter in your mouth, just good. DYCSoccer17 (2189), Davis, California, USA

Piney, PNW hop aroma with some mildly sweet smaltiness. Typical IPA aroma. Not overly special. Transparent copper color with a whitish head and decent lacing. Piney piney bitter hoppiness to start, without really any malt backbone. Tastes like hop tea. Needs some balance. Not a very enjoyable IPA. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 10, 2006 From a 22 oz, brown bomber bottle with a cartoon Greek god-like figure on the front label, no bottled/freshness date.
Made a good appearance, poured a cloudy reddish hued golden orange with a foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing, minimal amount of sticking, good carbonation.
Had a nose of fruity malts and piney, citric grapefruity and leafy hops.
A crisp, hop textured and smooth medium bodied mouth feel, very good AIPA drinkability.
Quite tasty, a balanced sweet fruity malts and a dry leafy grapefruity hops, a rolling bitterness with a soft numbing of the tongue, some spiciness as well and a dry citric bitter and fruity finish with the hops lingering in the palate.
A really balanced and delicious AIPA, if you like IPA’s. a must try.

It’s extremely floral and citrusy in the nose, and the flavor is amazingly hoppy (again, floral and citrusy), without being overwhelmingly bitter. I could drink this stuff all day. The label could also be used as a cheesy Manowar album cover. Hoppy and tangerine nose. Taste is powerful. Rich body, aggressive bitterness (grainy hops) and burnt oranges. All that supported by some malts. Not the juicy floral type of IPA. I seem to like it more than most other people. I like my IPAs to be as brutal as possible and this one satisfied me.
