Pours amber with a white head.
Nose shows spicy, herbal and earthy hops along with some sweet, bready malt.
Quite malty flavours, more bready notes along with some caramel before the spicy earthy hops roll through followed by an assertive bitterness.
Nice moderately thick body.

Slightly clear golden. Crazy skunk hop aroma. Sips thin and wat watery with dry bitter hop flavor. Shockingly not a hop punch in the face considering the other Elysian brews I’ve had. Lacks body

355ml bottle from the LCBO. hazed orange with a white head that lingers and laces, perfect looking IPA. aroma of oxidization, dust, zero malt or hops. flavour is old oxidized and lifeless. hard to drink. the importer needs to look into the current stock at the LCBO, its not in good shape. worst ipa ive ever had?

IBU 42. Tasted in a frosted pint glass at Hard Rock Seattle. Quite clear and golden in color. No head. Little aroma. Flavor was "okay." Not very hoppy. It's a serviceable ipa but nothing special to make it stand out.

Serving: 22 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours an amber color with a loose off white head. The nose is milder in the hop department than I was expecting. Light citrus notes with a little caramel. The flavor is malt forward. Lots of chewy, bready malts with mild citrusy hops to balance things. Overall it falls towards the hop side, but only barely. Decent.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 24, 2013 Serving: from tap at Red Robin
Aroma: light pine hop.
Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white, initial head with fully diminishing longevity and good lacing. Clear, light-amber body.
Taste: moderately bitter and grapefruity initial flavor and finish with average duration.
Palate: medium bodied with dry texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: excellent. Easy to drink. The grapefruity flavor balances the bitterness very well.
