Jun 19, 2009 On tap at the Whistle Stop. Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head. Nice aroma of orange/grapefruit, pineapple, and cotton candy. Tastes mostly the same. Refreshingly good IPA after a string of mediocre ones.

Jun 18, 2009 On tap at Falling Rock Tap House. Pours light golden copper with white head. Aroma is hoppy with citrus, pine, and caramel malt. Flavor is hops, grapefruit, caramel malt and some pine. Meium mouthfeel. Solid IPA.

Jun 13, 2009 Pours foggy amber, with a medium white head, very fine lasting lacing. Floral bouquet -- grapefruit, petunia, pine, with some leather, caramel, and pear notes, and just a hint of banana. Light-medium body, velvety and smooth. Flavors of caramel, apple, biscuit, with pleasantly bitter grapefruit and pine finish. Complex in flavor and aroma.

May 28, 2009 12oz bottle. I’ve had this before and always forgot to rate it from the 22ozers. Aroma is light caramel and toated malt. Pours a golden bronze. Flavor is a light hops and buttery toast. Palate is good not too bitter and a little watery. Overall not bad.

May 26, 2009 22 oz bottle. pours a light golden with a slight head. The nose is sweet hops. Light to medium body. Decent op taste not overpowering. More like a pale ale by West Coast/ PNW standards, comes across more like a britsh style IPA

May 24, 2009 Bottle. Light to moderate malt aromas of roasted and caramel, light hop and yeast notes of citrusy/herb and soap, with a hint of wood. Head is small, fizzy/bubbly, white, with fair lacing and is almost fully diminishing. Color is hazy amber. Flavor starts lightly acidic and finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery, and has a lively carbonation. Light and drinkable, just not very IPA-ish.

May 8, 2009 pours a hazy coppery light brown with an amazing malty aroma and little head - very malty flavors with much flavoring hops and little bittering. overall this is a very good beer but a little too much citrus and not enough actual bittering.
