From bottle. Pours a hazy amber with small head, but leaves plenty of lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus hops. Taste is bitter with a little sweetness, citrus grapefruit, and dry bitter finish.

355ml bottle from Stewarts Wine Company. Rating from May 2014. Hoppy amber beer that is very flavoursome and goes down well.

22oz bottle. Thanks Nick & Sue. Pours a clear gold with a medium size cap that leaves a thick lace. Aroma of citrus, pine, caramel, and a bit of dry biscuit. Taste is sweet and bitter, and slight tang. Dry finish from a sticky coat. Very enjoyable for a well balanced ipa that doesn't strip the palate from hop acidity.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking somewhat transparent golden yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated and left a nice speckled look to spread and leave a spider web fashion of sorts. The smell had a really nice bittersweet citrus to somewhat of a grapefruit aroma. The taste was mainly bittersweet with a backup by some sweet caramel malts. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was right on par for an AIPA, just harsh enough. Overall, this was a pretty good AIPA well worthy of having again.

Pours a yellow-copper with a small white head. Aroma consists of piney, Western hops with some hints of citrus. Middle of the road bitterness for an IPA. Fairly medium body and goes down easily. Would be a good choice to wean someone into great tasting Western style IPAs.

22 oz bomber from whole foods in foggy bottom, DC. this bomber was $5! the best $5 i ever spent.only negative was no sell by or use by date, but tasted very fresh. I just wish I would have gotten more than one bottle. really nice west coast citrus hop flavor. definitely hop-forward, but not over the top. very drinkable at 6.3% abv - the flavor suggested at least a one percent higher ABV. I really enjoyed this ipa and hope to find more. Very highly recommended.
