UPDATED: NOV 24, 2013 Serving: from tap at Red Robin Aroma: light pine hop. Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white, initial head with fully diminishing longevity and good lacing. Clear, light-amber body. Taste: moderately bitter and grapefruity initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: medium bodied with dry texture and soft carbonation. Overall: excellent. Easy to drink. The grapefruity flavor balances the bitterness very well.

Aroma is lemon grass, honey, an earthiness, roasted malts and sulphur. Taste is a pleasant sweet maltiness that is balanced pretty well with a somewhat deep hop profile. Light tanin, clove, and caramel present here. The bitterness lingers but is overall pretty smooth. Appearance is a slightly hazy orange with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

Lovely pink grapefruit nose, lollipop. Nice crisp, citrus hops and bready malt with a touch of caramel, apricot, juicy orange, pepper, dry bitter finish. Solid citrus ipa, good sweet/bitter/peppery balance and nice drinkability.

Schnabelhund (73) - Berlin, GERMANY - FEB 23, 2015
Pours slighly cloudy copper with a nice head which leaves decent lacing behind. The nose is on the simple side of pleasant, with notes of pine, resin, and, to a lesser degree, citrus dominating. Citrus peel is more obvious upon taking a mouthful, preceded by caramel and a faint hint of nuts. The finish consists of muted bitterness (for an IPA) and gentle heat. A simple yet pleasant IPA.

12oz bottle. Pour is copper in color. Thick golden head releases pungent pine and hop aromas. Taste is of citrus {orange peel } and grapefruit. Finish is average. Overall-not exceptional but easily a constant go to if in mood for middle of road IPA.

Aroma: Grapefruit, citrus (lime), bright, pine. Appearance: Opaque, cloudy, golden, orange. Taste: Malty, fruity, light. Palate: Clean. Sweet middle that lingers. Overall: Very good IPA. Elysian Split Shot was a disappointment. This was an opposite end surprise.

Pour is dark amber with a decent amount of bubbly white head. Nose is heavily malted, caramel and doughy bread, light citrus and grassy hay hops. Taste is strong malt, caramel, bread crust, light citrus, herbal grassy hop in finish. Medium body, softer carb, syrupy finish.

Bottle with Butler. Thanks Chris! Pours a hazy yellow orange with a thin white head. Aroma is orange peel and grapefruit. Very malt forward. Fairly sweet. A bit too sweet. Some floral in it also. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Fruity, pine, juicy hops, some tropical fruit, caramel, and some grapefruit. Low bitterness, but nice hopiness. Enjoyable.
