akaufman (16), Seattle, Washington, USA Apr 12, 2007 Top tier brewery’s flagship brew. I especially enjoy the fact that it is so readily accessable sandygoonie (27), Seattle, Washington, USA May 13, 2006 Unbelievable IPA. huge huge citrus hop aroma contered with a peppery spicy initial flavor. Smooth almost silky malt and light malt texture. Perfect mouth and perfect finish TheSponge (272), Lynnwood, Washington, USA Mar 2, 2008 Updated: Jul 8, 20091 pint 6 fl. oz. bottle. Pours amber color with a head that dissipates quickly. Aroma: Pine and a hint of citrus. Flavor: Very hoppy, but not over-powering, with a hint of orange peel. KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Oct 23, 2004 Extra special thanks to Indiana Red for this tasty morsel. This is, without a doubt, the best IPA I have ever had. The perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness makes this one a must drink. Highly recommended! HoppedHead (106), seattle, Washington, USA Jun 27, 2002 Gorgeous copper color, nice malty flavors meld perfectly with the hops, bitter with citrusy overtones, very well done IPA, easy to drink and extremely enjoyable! Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Nov 25, 2004 22 oz bottle. Nice tangerine color with a sticky thick head. Aroma of citrus, pine and hops. The taste is malty sweetness nicely balanced out by the resinous hop juice. Had this with pizza at one of the best pizza places in New York and was blown away. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and the finish is silky smooth. dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Oct 3, 2009 Wow. Great hop-from-the-vine aroma. A lot of beers with great aroma from elysian. After the other beers so far I expected a hoppier IPA. A nice hop finish, but in reality on par for a SoCal IPA. The avatar is more interesting. A nice bitter finish though. Shadallion (526), Sacramento, California, USA Jun 16, 2001 A first-rate PNW India Pale Ale. Great freshly-brewed aroma and appearance. Hops are noticible as soon as you pop the cap, and are the main feature here. Malt comes through very strongly as a balancer, but the hops own the finish and that is what you will remember. A beauty.
