Draught sample at brewery. Great fresh grassy hops with apricots and resin. Mild bitter fruity malts. Fresh! Dull golden amber clear with creamy lacing off-white head. Medium-heavy watery body with medium carbonation. Big fresh hops flavor. Grassy with grapefruit and big bitter finish. Sweet sugary malt and light grain. Big bitter finish with medium chalky bitter after. Nice big IPA but not overly harsh.

Pours apple-juice amber with a thin ring of head and some patchy spots of lace. Nose is typically hoppy but with an interesting hint of toasty malt and roasted marshmallow—I like it. Medium to full bodied with very subdued carbonation adding to the perception of thickness. Very lightly sweet with some fruity apple notes. Bitterness in the finish is rather subdued and earthy. This definitely isn’t an IPA for hop-worshippers; rather it’s a solid strong ale that’s as pleasant as it devilishly drinkable. I can dig it.

Yet another northwest American IPA. I guess I’m a sucker for this style, though, since I continue to rate these beers higher than raters whose opinions I trust more than my own. Cloudy orange with a good white head and decent lacing. Lots of bitterness, lots of grapefruit hops, decent malt for balance. Nothing remarkable, simple rather than complex, but immensely pleasant. I guess the American IPA and the Willamette hops just work for me.

Hazy dark straw golden color. A decent head and very sticky aggressive lacing. The aroma has a good hop bitterness with malt background, some spices and a little citrus. The flavor is balanced and mild for a PNW IPA but still good. The flavors are all there. A bit of earthyness in the finish and still remains rounded. This was a tasty new IPA in town, can’t complain. I could drink a couple more of these.

Bought in the ubiquitous 22 oz brown bomber! This is an excellent looking beer as poiured into my British style dimpled pint mug, pretty dark orange for a typical IPA..with a great frothy white head that billows then recedes but leaves a good lace film on top and on the side of the glass.. Very fresh spicy, zingy IPA hop aroma..well done. This is a well balanced IPA i can taste a wee bit of malt before the hops come crashing through..sherbety grapfruit after taste. Pretty good on the palate..refreshing A good PNW IPA..not as hopped up as some but well drinkable.

Bottle. Pretty clear dark golden with good head and lacing. Light earthy/grass and citrus aroma with a malt background. Nice sharp hop bite with malt follow-up. Good lingering bitterness. Very drinkable IPA.

Really thick yellowish off-white head. Hazy golden copper body. Aroma is muted... maybe from the foam. Light hops. Has an interesting fresh citrus character... not overdone or typical. Flavor is a bit of the same... nice citrusy and slightly sour hops with a little malt to give it sweetness. Not sure what the hops are, but they are different than the norm. Good all around flavor. A bit different with its slightly atypical hops and slight sourness.

Moderate head, transparent, golden body. Light citrus aroma, dry nose. Malt is mostly citrus, a lot of orange and light notes of grapefruit. Dry, hoppy finish. Not as much complexity going on in the malt as some of the better versions of this style, this one feels a bit bland, but easy drinking and nicely hopped.
