Light amber and a little orange with a creamy head. Thickish mouthfeel, but carbonation lightens it up a little. Cookie-dough malt base. Notes of malted chocolate balls, toffee, and light yeast. Hop aromas and flavors were mild. Quite a bit of hop bitterness, though. It lingered on the tongue and left behind some citric hints, especially tangerine. Pretty good, but not as good as I expected.

22oz. bottle: The beer is a darker golden color, and it is just about clear. There was a small white head that went away quickly. Some lacing. The aroma is a bit piney, but not overly so. The taste starts out with a decent hop bite, but it had a decent maltiness in the background to balance it. Decent and well balanced.

Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Pours a medium golden color with a hint of orange. Moderate hoppy bitter aroma right off of the bat. Somewhat subdued. Moderate spicy bitterness up front. Alot of grapefruit peel. A little bit of sweetness as well. Bitter throughout. Although it is good, there is nothing that really makes it special.

Light hay in the nose, hops too of course. Clear gold color. Kinda one-dimensional taste profile since the hopping just overpowers everything else. There is a sugary sweetness towards the end, but this is no consolation. The hops zing the tip of the tongue and lingering long after the swallow. You can almost feel the hop resin sticking to your teeth.

This is a very unique IPA. The aroma is faintly floral, some sweet qualities come out as well. It pours orange, with a nice white bubbly head. It’s initially sweet on the palate, and fades quickly. This beer is very dry. I’d like to find some more hops on the palate. If you find IPA’s too bitter, you might be interested in trying this one.

Bottle. Particulate-laden yet clear orange body with a ton of carbonation. All that carbonation produces a big stiff rocky white head. Dry caramelly aroma with a lemon head and dried spice hopping. Interesting flavor - acidic lemon juice, unripe strawberry and dandelion all over dry toasty caramel malt. Neat refreshing acidity but the malts are lacking.

22oz. Bottle: Hoppy aroma with notes citrus, grapefruit, and caramel. Poured light orange/yellow/apple juice with a hint of amber in color and a large, dense, creamy, hilly, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Not sparkling. Excellent lacing. Lightly sweet, light to medium bitter flavor. Tastes of hops, caramel, malts, butter, citrus, lemon, vanilla, and slight tropical fruits. Medium body. Oily texture. Soft to average carbonation. Sweet, hop and caramel finish.

Well, the first thing that distinguishes the brew is the palate - kind of thin and watery. Very dry, of course, with pine and a little citrus. Hardly any malt.
