Bomber I bought on my last trip to the Northwest. Pours orange with a 3 finger puffy puffy tan head. Nose is sweet and citrussy. Taste has some nice citrus and some hoppy bitterness. This is a decent IPA.

Tap. Pours a light straw color with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops, not much else. Taste is citrus and floral hops up front with slight malt and wheat on the finish. Beer was fairly smooth, though those hops definitely stay with you. It’s good, but not great.

On draught at the Elysian brewery in Seattle, Washington. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a thin off-white ring and film top. Aroma of sweet grapefruit zest, some biscuit malt, and a touch of apricots and herbs. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of multi-grain and biscuit malt, extra grapefruit zest and citrus hops, and a hint of toffee. Finish has a sharp bitter finish that slowly disappears in the aftertaste. Average IPA overall but qite good.

old rating: 6/2/7/3/13 - 3.1 pours a semi-cloudy amber-orange with a small off-white head that goes away quickly, and good lacing. smell of grapefruit, citrus sweet, a touch of pine, some caramel, and orange. taste is somewhat creamy, dry leaves, a light sweet, light bitter, a little orange, touch of caramel, some pine, and some nuts in the back, ends bitter with a sweet aftertaste.

Pours an orangeish copper with a good-sized head. The aroma is wonderful on this one - citrus hops, bitter grapefruit, satsumas and a good balance of malts... but either the flavor is weak, or I’m getting far too used to DIPAs. It’s smooth - I’ll give it that - but diluted. Good flavor, but it definitely tastes watered down, and the flavor just dies.

Bottle. Aroma of floral hops, light caramel malt. Flavor of floral and grassy hops with the same light caramel malt. Not bad, though not terribly entertaining.

Bottle. Clear deep golden. Aroma of mango and grapefruit. Dry with clean but bold mouthfeel. There are juicy hops, but it ends with ashy bitterness. A good, solid beer, but nothing that stands out amongst the IPAs in the PNW.

Pours a golden orange with a beige head. Mild carbonation. Aroma of bitter hops, citrus, and pine. Taste is of crisp hops with an underlying taste of bitterness and malt flavors. Lingering hop bite. Thick mouthfeel, aided by the carbonation. Refreshing and tasty.
