| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 24, 2009 Tap. Pours a light straw color with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops, not much else. Taste is citrus and floral hops up front with slight malt and wheat on the finish. Beer was fairly smooth, though those hops definitely stay with you. It’s good, but not great. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 20, 2008 On draught at the Elysian brewery in Seattle, Washington. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a thin off-white ring and film top. Aroma of sweet grapefruit zest, some biscuit malt, and a touch of apricots and herbs. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of multi-grain and biscuit malt, extra grapefruit zest and citrus hops, and a hint of toffee. Finish has a sharp bitter finish that slowly disappears in the aftertaste. Average IPA overall but qite good. robforbes (1114), Bremerton, Washington, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 30, 2008 Pours an orangeish copper with a good-sized head. The aroma is wonderful on this one - citrus hops, bitter grapefruit, satsumas and a good balance of malts... but either the flavor is weak, or I’m getting far too used to DIPAs. It’s smooth - I’ll give it that - but diluted. Good flavor, but it definitely tastes watered down, and the flavor just dies. fredandboboflo (1431), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Bottle. Aroma of floral hops, light caramel malt. Flavor of floral and grassy hops with the same light caramel malt. Not bad, though not terribly entertaining. CaptBier (303), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Clear deep golden. Aroma of mango and grapefruit. Dry with clean but bold mouthfeel. There are juicy hops, but it ends with ashy bitterness. A good, solid beer, but nothing that stands out amongst the IPAs in the PNW. BeerBunker (624), Burbank, Illinois, USA
