Shaker pint draft at the brewpub (Qwest field location). Pour is very hazed and unfiltered, cheddar cheese orange with not much of a white head. Aroma is orange citrus, coriander and wheat. Taste is wheat, orange citrus, Saaz hops, earthiness and minerals. The finish has some orange peel sour bitterness. Taste, like the pour is very much unfiltered. Nice satisfying palate without being heavy. Nice refreshing wit.

On draught at the Elysian brewery in Seattle, Washington. Pours a hazy golden straw brew with a thick and lumpy white head that has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of light multi-grain and some golden grain malt, some banana esters, cloves and a touch of orange zest. Taste is medium bodied, some light carbonation with flavors of light malt with wheat, coriander, orange zest, a touch of banana and cloves. Finish is creamy and smooth with a nice coriander and wheat aftertaste flavor. Quite a decent Witbier.

glkaiser (1214) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 12, 2008
Cloudy golden with fluffy white head. Citrus, light lemon grass and spice aroma. Taste has more of the same but considerable bready malts nad a kick of ginger. All of the additions come together nicely, but the malt still does most of the work. Great example of a light session beer(4.76%) that packs plenty of taste. Could cut down on the bitterness, actually.

On tap at Elysian Fields in Seattle--Poured a soapy white-straw body with a small white head. Phenolic nose with a mildly sweet banana and clove essence. Tantalizing tannin creaminess with a zestful and floral follow through. Awesome!

Pours a fine looking cloudy banana liquer color with a pert 1 1/2" thick head. A healthy dose of coriander greets the nose with some wheat as well, though coriander is the primary ingredient that presses on the olfactory and gustatory senses. Lacking the delicate complexity expected of a wit--seemed more like a coriander wheat beer. Tannic sourness on finish.
