Hop Mob Triple IPA Show - Pint Defiance Bottle Shop Tacoma - Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice Hops forward aroma and flavor. This was a huge Triple IPA.

Draft at The Noble Fir in Ballard. Good rich hop aroma, deep apricot fuit. Some bitterness but very rich fruit. Deep pine, orange depth. A bit indistinct fruit at finish, some bitterness. Overall a bit too creamy and underdeveloped.

Draught. Pours a hazy copper color with a small white head on it. Nose had some very bold citrus and resin hop elements in there. Taste was quite bitter, and felt just a little sticky on the palate, though smooth. Despite the 10%, it wasn’t at all boozy for me. About halfway through, I started getting a slightly sweet finish on it. I liked this one quite a lot.

Draft at sb. Pours a cloudy pale amber with scant whitish head. Sugary sweet malty nose with butterscotch. Slick medium body with light carb. Intensely sweet caramel and butterscotch, maybe a touch of ethanol. Feels a bit rushed.

On tap @ Brouwers. Pours cloudy dark orange with thin white head. Aroma is buttery citrusy boozy malt, bitter on the finish. Taste is better - somewhat harsh sweet malt and plenty of bitterness from the hops but only minimal flavor - hints of grass and pine. I dunno, this didn’t do it for me, seemed like something went wrong here. Will revisit if I ever see again.
