Bottle 50cl from Quack-Duck thanks. A golden beer without head ! Nose is low on dry malt and metallic notes. Aroma is malty, grainy, slightly caramel notes, grassy and round hops, an usual marzen with good bitterness on aftertaste.

MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - FEB 5, 2012
(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a big but not very persistent slightly off-white foamy head. Herbal spicy hoppy aroma with a slightly buttery malty background. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly bready and buttery malty base with a pleasantly herbal and slightly woody hops character: Good, but very close to their Export. 18.I.12

Bottle(thank You, Stefan!): Golden, spicy hoppy nose with a bready-malty background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied, soft; lingering hoppy-citrussy with a woody touch in the aftertaste. Spicy and good…

From a 500 ml bottle. Pale Golden with a medium head. Grainy, malty and spicy. Full body, medium bitterness and a little flavour of flowers and grain. Quite good but still a normal Märzen, nothing special for Christmas.
