Bottle 50cl from Quack-Duck thanks, a golden beer with medium head. Nose is herbal and caramel malt like. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy with nice honey notes, caramel hints, barley sugar, finish on grassy and froral notes with medium bitterness. Very good brewery.

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Buttery malty aroma with herbal hoppy notes. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Buttery and slightly bready malt-character with present herbal and slightly woody hops; mildly bitter hoppy finish with a shy sourish touch. Once again a likeable brew from Elzach. 18.I.12

bierkoning (8951) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2006
Bottle, bought at the brewery shop. Mandarin and a hint of milk in the aroma. Malty, milky flavor, low on hopbitterness (just a hint in the aftertaste) with a touch of orange esters. Typical helles, not without quality, but not outstanding in any way.
