500ml bottle [another local from bartlebier, thank you!]. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, minimally strawy aroma, a cautious muggy touch of wet straw, fresh grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is pale malty with very subtle sweetness, minimally grainy spicy, a cautious touch of hay, grassy hoppy overtones with a cautious lemon touch. If I had tasted this blind, I would have expected to come upon a hazy beer.

Tap@source Elzach V2014. Fresh golden with eggwhite foam. Rounded grain-aromatics (honey nose) pleasantly blend in with a natural hop profile. Smooth and easy export with some body and no off notes. On tap clearer, less muddled than some of this brewery’s bottles sometimes turn out.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2014 500ml Flasche.

Bottle from trade with beerhunter111 - many thanks, HP :) The beer pours out in a clear amber-orange colour with no real head and medium body. Aroma of straw and hops. Taste of fresh, fizzy hops, rosé wine, flowers, straw, honey and champagne. Light grainy hints. Highly carbonated enjoyment on the tongue - very kind of funny but I like it. Started boring and light strawy with the first taste but got better the more air and temperature it got.

Golden color, white head, lots of bubble. Light, light sweet, well hopped, soft. Medium lasting finish, malty, light bitter.

Bottle 50cl from Quack-Duck thanks, a golden beer with medium head. Nose is herbal and caramel malt like. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy with nice honey notes, caramel hints, barley sugar, finish on grassy and froral notes with medium bitterness. Very good brewery.

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Buttery malty aroma with herbal hoppy notes. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Buttery and slightly bready malt-character with present herbal and slightly woody hops; mildly bitter hoppy finish with a shy sourish touch. Once again a likeable brew from Elzach. 18.I.12

Bottle(thanks to Quack-Duck!): Golden, visible carbonation, mid-sized stable white head, relatively sharp woody-hoppy traces in the honeyish and grainy nose; bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied and pretty soft; sweet malty finish with a hoppy "tail".Good and spicy…

bottle from the brewer himself. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty aroma. Medium-bodied, malty flavours dominate, slightly grainy , very slightly fruity. Smooth palate.
