Really enjoyable. Sour an tasty, and pretty well balanced. I guess you have to be a bit experienced to identify this one by its flavors and aromas, but once you get used to something you did not expect, its refreshing, tasty and exciting.

Almost clear pale gold beer, small off white head. Palate is light and dry, mild fine carbonation. Thin pale malts, tangy mild citrus. Little sour vibe and something smoky and pukey, Dry finish. Never going to love this style I expect!

33 cl. bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy pale gold with a decent white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, and smoke. Taste is malt, smoke, meat, tart fruit, and spice. Interesting.

Bottle. Brewtique, Macclesfield. Clear gold. Halo of white. Smoked malt. Brine. Some tart, goats milk cheesiness. Taste is a little tart, and dry. Crisp palate. Some acidity. Finishes a little tart, salty, and dry. A bit odd, but I did quite like this.

Bottle, got with help from Humlebingen blog, thanks Kenneth! Citrus pulp and lots of floral (elderflower) notes, in addition to the rather restrained smoke. Rose aftertaste. Atypical yet interesting and likeable. What I found a bit disturbing was the light tartness in this beer that - definitely not a result of spoilage or bad brewing - tasted intentional but at the same time out of place. As if the brewer feared a typical grodziskie might be too mild, so it would have to be enlivened by said tartness. Well, it wouldn’t have to. Drinkable but it has potential to be more than just that.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2014 Golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, pediococcus, gasoline and rubber. Light sour flavour, lactic acid, smoke, sauerkraut. Malty finish, light sour. Interesting experiment.
(33cL bottle shared @ a weekly tasting, Oirschot)

On tap at Cafe Sara, april 15th 2014. Unclear golden body, tiny white head. Slightly sour aroma with mild smoke, tart fruitness, citrus. Taste of citrus fruits, smoked meat, tartness, medium bitter and smoky finish. Quite unusual (for me at least) and interesting.
