0,33 l bottle from Matkroken Stokka. Pours a muddy yellow golden body with a large white head leaving a dense layer of lacing. Salty, smokey and wooden nose. Citric acid and smokey flavors gives way to more cereal notes. Medium bodied.

Bottle at Barely legal tasting room Pours rather clear blonde , rather small white head . Smell is almost smoky , byt not as bad as a rauchbier . Good carbo . Taste is salty , bit smoky-ish , lactose-ish character . Comparable to gooses i had , but with a lactic , smoky touch . Veey interesting beer . Not really my thing though and a full bottle is def to much . I am very interested in what this beerstyle is like , traditiinally . Hopefully others are more my thing though .

33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Amsterdam. BBE 03/2015. Aroma is somewhat stale with smoky tones and bun dough. Also some urinal(!) Flavour is tart with green apples, hay, urinal and bun dough. Aftertaste has some lactic tones. Not my thing.

A light yellow beer with an almost medium and white head. Aroma is weird, sourness, wheat, smoke and salty ham. Interesting. Taste of wheat, sourness, lemon, hint of smoke. Quite light and fresh to drink. Salt, lemon, sourness and smoke, the weird combo of flavours, still quite nice.

Bottle 33 CL. Ty jookos. Pours yellow hazy golden with white lacing head and a Smokey scent. Notes of smoke, ash, apple and orange in aftertaste, fruits combined with smoke. Very interesting beer. Rare taste for me.

33cl bottle, gråsälstasting #4. Light golden, thin white head. Camp fire smoke, ashy aroma. Wow. Flavor has smoke, ashy notes, petrol fume, apple candy. Quite the mix here. Still I find it quite intruiging and drinkable. Have not had many in this style, gut I guess it is quite close to style.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2014 Bottle from Bacchinalia (Mill Road), Cambridge. Yellow-gold and hazy, with plentiful carbonation. Scent of lemon, vanilla, smoked bacon. A bit fusty. Taste is pleasantly sour/salty but there isn’t that much to it. Very thin palette. Pleasant lim-smacking salty aftertaste. This is ok, not the best from either of these breweries by a long shot but it grows on you over the course of the bottle.

Bottled from de Molen beershop, BB 03 2015, large sample, served in a shaker. Clear golden color, medium white head leaving a fair amount of lacing. Aroma of woody smoke, slight wheat, slight bacon, soft grassy and earthy hop, some lemon. Hint of sour, slight dry, slight salty. Bit sticky palate. Medium carbonation, medium bodied. I like the bacony smoke together with the fresh almost sourish wheat. Unfortunately, the bacon becomes less and the sour notes take over in the end, although Id have preferred it the other way around.
