Bottle 33 CL. Ty jookos. Pours yellow hazy golden with white lacing head and a Smokey scent. Notes of smoke, ash, apple and orange in aftertaste, fruits combined with smoke. Very interesting beer. Rare taste for me.

Bottled from de Molen beershop, BB 03 2015, large sample, served in a shaker. Clear golden color, medium white head leaving a fair amount of lacing. Aroma of woody smoke, slight wheat, slight bacon, soft grassy and earthy hop, some lemon. Hint of sour, slight dry, slight salty. Bit sticky palate. Medium carbonation, medium bodied. I like the bacony smoke together with the fresh almost sourish wheat. Unfortunately, the bacon becomes less and the sour notes take over in the end, although Id have preferred it the other way around.

thin ivorywhite that fades fast. pisyellow murky colour. aroma of clove, anise, sour, smoked malt. taste like aroma, rather salty finish, lactic acid and citric acid. thin mouthfeel, rather carbonated. extremely weird, some styles are better not brought back to life. bottle 33 cl / bbf mar-2015

Bottle. Pours light hazy dark yellow with a big creamy head. Aroma is rather on the strange side with salty and smoked meat, sausage water and roasted malts with grain and caramel. Medium body with full texture and quite soft carbonation. Flavour is salt and lightly smoked malts, with some notes of barnyard and light sour notes of hay giving a tart and earthy finish. Pretty strange, can I have another one?

33 cl bottle. BBE 03/2015.
Pours slightly hazy golden color with a very thick, large white head. Some smoky malt notes are first thing on the nose, herbs, some grass and faint fruity notes. Fruity and a bit grainy flavor, some wooden notes on the finish. Some sourness. Feels quite heavy. Not my thing.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2014 Bottle from Bacchinalia (Mill Road), Cambridge. Yellow-gold and hazy, with plentiful carbonation. Scent of lemon, vanilla, smoked bacon. A bit fusty. Taste is pleasantly sour/salty but there isn’t that much to it. Very thin palette. Pleasant lim-smacking salty aftertaste. This is ok, not the best from either of these breweries by a long shot but it grows on you over the course of the bottle.

Hazy pale golden pour with an ok white head that ends up in a thin layer. Ok lacing. The aroma are quite interesting and strange. Mild peat. Salt and mild malty with some citrus notes. Ok medium body and a moderate sweetness. Quite ok bitterness and an average carbonation. The flavor are like the aroma. Quite fresh with a fine citric peel. Mild peat, mild malty and salty. A fine summer drink this one.

Aroma of hay, citrus, lemon, smoked meat. Flavour is a mild but welcome tartness, smoked. Very interesting combination of flavours. Refreshing and easy to drink.

33cl bottle, gråsälstasting #4. Light golden, thin white head. Camp fire smoke, ashy aroma. Wow. Flavor has smoke, ashy notes, petrol fume, apple candy. Quite the mix here. Still I find it quite intruiging and drinkable. Have not had many in this style, gut I guess it is quite close to style.
