Countbeer (4311) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - JAN 24, 2011
Draft @ PWBF’11: Very small bubbly white lacing on top of a hazy orange colored beer. Smell barleys, sweets, malts, fruit and spices. Soft and smooth mix of barleys, sweets, malts, fruits and a hint of wood. Full body, low carbo, soft mouthfeel. Very well balanced.

Draft @ Emelisse 27/12/2011 as Xmas Bowmore BA. Would be nice to see how it ages.

Sweet and full bodied barley wine. The bowmore gives it a little more depth. but it isn’t my favorite spirit for aging.

Bottle @ ACBF 2011. A hazy dark amber colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of fruits, apricot, wood, whisky with sweets. The taste has wood notes some bitter vanilla fruity and sweet. The aftertaste is bitter with sweet.

@ PWBF 2011. The aroma has caramel, orange, wood, whisky. Red-orange coloured beer with no head. The taste is sweet, light bitter, has medicin, oranges, some caramel, toffee. Bit sticky. Well bodied and belly warming. Nice one.

Smell is not the best, at least not what I like. Tastes sort of ’friendly’, soft and ripe. Very nice finish, very nice body and very nice carbonation.

Tap @ in de Wildeman. Did Emelisse buy a bowmore barrel and put every beer he created afterwards on this barrel?? Well, it does pay out. Sweet malty taste, hoppy. Decent amount of bowmore notes, but not overwhelming. Gives that nice little edge to the beer to make it better.

Clear amber with a nice white head. A lighter barley wine with defined charred notes that overshaddowed it a bit. The flavors of the barley wine become easier to taste after a few sips. Notes: On tap at the Alvinne CBF
