Draft @ Emelisse 27/12/2011 as Xmas Bowmore BA. Would be nice to see how it ages.

At ACBF 2011. Peaty aroma. Just not my favourite flavour. Barley wine hardly comes through. Just too Islay, peaty, touch of sweet toffee.

Smell is not the best, at least not what I like. Tastes sort of ’friendly’, soft and ripe. Very nice finish, very nice body and very nice carbonation.

Aroma is sweet malt with a strong bowmore note. Some caramel and fruit. Flavour is deep and full, bitter, yet sweet, lavished in sweet sweet Bowmore. Nice.

Clear amber with a nice white head. A lighter barley wine with defined charred notes that overshaddowed it a bit. The flavors of the barley wine become easier to taste after a few sips. Notes: On tap at the Alvinne CBF
