3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2012-12-08. Black, small brown head. 3+ Dark malt, modest roast and hops in the aroma. Flavour is quite bitter, cocoa note sin the finish and a dry coffee like roast. 6+ Average bodied palate. Okay, the hops don’t really come through as much in the flavour as in the bitterness. Decent. On tap at Blue Monk, Buffalo

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled, 0.33l. Clear dark brown color with thick creamy brownish head and floating residue. Aroma is very pleasant, mainly spicy hops, coffee, caramel, dry fruits and with light alcohol note. Taste starts with rich roasted malt, then followed by fruity and coffee notes, while finish is astringent with long and hoppy aftertaste. Full body, thick to oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. This one was interesting and tasty...

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at Ipanema Bar, Thessaloniki: Black colour with almost no head. Aroma of alcohol. Did not like its aroma. Taste of some coffee and chocolate. Medium body, very bitter aftertaste, medium to low carbonation. Did not enjoy it at all. Maybe the bottle was not that good. If it was good, then the beer lacks a clear identity.
