12oz pour is a lightly watery, otherwise opaque black with a lacing, off white head. Nose of pure scotch, rubbery, salty, peated malt, smokey. Flavor is very smokey, sweet, honey, wine, lots of wood, soapy, molasses, nail polish remover. Full bodied, soapy finish. The barrel is very heavy, but not bad.

Draught @ Borefts Bier Festival 2011, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.
Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, overpowered by the peat - smoke and medicine. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, for me not much else than peat and medicine ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110923]
