Bottle, 7.5%. Weak fruity aroma. Muddy orange colour. Very small white head. The flavour is quite fruity, some good yeast notes. A little pepper in the finish. The yeast gets a bit much in the finish, but OK I guess.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2012 A beautiful, orange, cloudy beer with a big and blond head. Aroma is brilliant, tropical fruity, lychee, passionfruits, papaiyas, kiwis and fructose. Taste is slightly fruity, dry and herbal spicy, quite dry, tropical fruityness is more behind, lychee and passion are dominant. Medium- bodied, quite lot of carbonation nd slightly tight to drink. Weird, funny and unique beer, taste is like tropical fruity US-IPA, taste is more blonde with belgian fruits and herbal spicyness. Interesting and very tastefull beer for fruitslovers and also for others.

330ml bottle. Clear orange-amber with huge orange-white head. Nice hop aroma, admittedly deleting almost any other flavour, maybe with the exception of a fruity note. Soft palate, mild yeasty beginning, taken over by a combined fruity raisin and dry hoppy taste. Not typically a Belgian Strong Ale, more an American or even "Kiwi" Pale Ale. For those who like the Nelson Sauvin dry-hopping a really enjoyable brew.

Fles 33cl Kleur: Amber/koperkleurig (ebc33). Brede witte schuimkraag. Helder. Mooi bier. Geur: Grapfruit en lemon. Zoet fruitig. Smaak: Fris en fruitig, en er is een scherpe bitter aanwezig die vooral in de nasmaak blijft hangen. Gemiddeld koolzuur. Een bijzonder bier in zn soort.

Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2011. Pours an unclear and copper beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt and hops with flowers and peach. The flavor follows the nose with additonal hops with grapefruit. The palate is bitterness. Overall a good beer.

Bottle. Golden - orange, cloudy, small and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, lots of fruitiness, pineapple and floral hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, lots of fruitiness, pineapple and floral hoppyness – faint citrus. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, very fruity, pineapple and some citrus hoppyness. Really nice fruitiness and floral hoppyness – aroma and flavor are in balance.

At ACBF 2011. Sweet sweaty sox aroma. Good hop, good bitterness. Sweetish, sweaty. Decent creamy Nelson Sauvin flavour in mouth.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20110601) The beer poured amber and quite clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, hops and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, hops, fruitiness, fresh grass, mildly sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A tasty hoppy blond.

Pretty standard blond beer color. It’s the smell and taste which are different from the typical blond. Very much the nelson sauvin hops that come through. Really nice aftertaste, very well balanced.

Bottle @ Pub. Taste makes up for the smell. It’s a good beer, bit fresh. My favorite Emelisse beer.
