UPDATED: FEB 12, 2012 Hazy, orange, long-staying head with small bubbles. Smell of orange, flowers and hops. Some sourness. Lively carbonation and a creamy finish. A very drinkable beer, but not very exciting.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy, golden/orange with a proportionate head. The nose has oranges and a floral note (maybe orange blossom). The taste has orange pith, orange fruit and a fresh orange pith finish.The palate has a medium bodied, creamy texture and a refreshing finish - great. Overall, a really well balanced and interesting beer.

I was underwhelmed by the double IPA 9%, like bigtime, so I was concerned about this one, but it blew my socks off. Not really blond like I’ve come to expect, but delicious, hoppy, beautiful dark colour, this was really great. Gonna buy a bunch of it next time I get the chance.

The aroma is of fresh grapefruit . A complex malt profile . Perfectly hoped with cascade . A beautiful white . Very tang Mouth feel. Also very lively carbonation .

Draught (O’Connor’s, Uppsala) - Amber with a haze and a foamy head. Pineapple, passion fruit and grapefruit feature in the enticing and somewhat exotic and tropical aroma. Bitter, crisp and hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, peach, nectarine, papaya and lychee. Incredibly exotic taste and really tasty. Goes down a treat.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Apricot and vinegar aroma. Flavour is passionfruit with a distinct sourness. Not a big fan of this.

Keg at North Bar, Leeds. Pours an apricot gold, with a finger of bubbly head. Aroma of hops, vinegar (in a good way), soft fruits, touch of caramel. Taste is a bit sweet, bready, citrus, apricot, with a bitter finish and a good malty body. I like.

Draught at Man in The Moon, Stockholm (as Emelisse Blond, 6.5%). Hazy amber, small head. Direct and inviting aroma of fresh kiwi, gooseberry and black currant. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Lots of fresh, aromatic hops on cushiony, sweetish malt. Mid bitter finish. Tasty and elegant.

On tap at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, January 2012. Amber with a small, white head. Nice, fruity aroma with quite a lot of pineapple and some sweet berries. The taste was descent, fruity with some notes of soap.

On tap @ In De Wildeman. Amber colored. Little head, but good lace. Aroma’s of pineapple, grapefruit, very juicy & fruity, mild bitterness. Flavor is medium bitter & medium sweet (malt). Medium bodied. Finishes shortly sharp bitter, with a lingering milder bitterness.
