Emelisse Blond is a soft and malty artisinal beer. The colour green stands for the American Cascade hop used. This gives it a hoppy and herbal flavour.

330 ml bottle at Express d'Lyon, Paris. Hazy golden with white head. Light caramel, bread and fruit and some zest. A little yeast when it warms up, but not in an unpleasant way. Dry with medium bitterness and medium carbonation.

Heel mooi oranjekleurig troebel bier met romige witte schuimkraag. Heerlijk aroma van appelsien, mango, perzik, tropisch fruit. Lekker fris hoppig bier. Fruitig in het begin met lekkere licht bittere afdronk. Kwaliteit !!

Bottle 33cl. Slightly hazy pale amber, large frothy off-white head, slowly diminishing, good lacing; very fruity aroma, grapefruit, orange peel, spruce, grass; taste is medium bitter and light sweet, fruity, malt notes, with long duration; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste is mild bittersweet, spicy notes, bit tame; bitterness to subdued to call it a proper IPA thus imo it is a well-made and pleasant Bitter.

Clear amber colour with a 3-4 finger head that won’t last too long. Smells like fresh-cut grass and some Belgian yeast, along with feint bitter hops. The taste is a bit more intense (read: hoppy) than what you’d expect from the smell, with nice citrus and tropical fruit notes on top of a sweet malty base.

Bottle 33cl. Yellow gold, bit hazy with some Co2 visible. Big off white head. Aroma of dry hops and malts with fruit hints. The taste is surprisingly bitter for a blond style beer. It reminds me of IPA. Still not bad at all!
