COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Emelisse Blond is a soft and malty artisinal beer. The colour green stands for the American Cascade hop used. This gives it a hoppy and herbal flavour.

Pours hazy golden. Taste of alderberries, slightly sweet, floral. Reminds me of an IPA. Light to medium body. Good carbo.

Bottle at Cafe Sara, december 26th 2012. hazy orange body, massive white head. Fruity aroma of pineapple and peach, toffee. Taste is a good showcase of cascade, fruity and piney, with adjuncts. Decent bitterness, lasting fruity finish.

Bottle, 33 cl, at home. Sweet nose of malt and yeast with notes of abricots and apples, and a healthy dose of American citrusy hops. Yeasty, peppery, bready, hoppy taste with a medium body. Dry, medium bitter finish. A little too sweet and unbalanced to excite me and definitely more of a hoppy Belgian Blonde than an IPA.

Big offwhite head. Hazy pale amber body with strong carbonation. Light fruity aroma, very anonymous. Dry-sweet resiny fruity taste with orangey notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry resiny tropical fruit aftertaste with grassy spicy gooseberry notes. Tastes like an IPA to me, but anyway itís nice, drinkable, and fresh. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Copper red, big beige head. Smells of peach. pineapple, mango, quite tropical, nice malts, also some citrus, grapefruit and pine. Moderate sweet, nice malt base, quite fruity body. Medium bitter, resins and pine. A nice tropical ipa, very drinkiable. Could easily have alot of these in the next years

Bottle 33 oz. Partly cloudy yellowish-red beer with a small white head. Sweet and fruity aromas of pineapple and peach. Sweet taste of malt with notes of caramel. Slightly bitter in taste and aftertaste after citrus and pineapple and a hint of alcohol

0.33l bottle. This is an initially light blurry dark golden one, getís more cloudy towards the end, and it has a nice medium sized somewhat lasting and lacing fluffy off-white top. Hoppy on the aroma. Some tropical sweet pineapple, pear, malts and traces of something mild yeasty. Not bad at all. Itís average on the carbonation scale and it has a mild oily mouthfeel. The taste has some pine-traces, more tropic fruits, somewhat resinous bitterness that lasts for a long time. A bit soapy finish, light dry as well. Easy to drink and not a bad brew. A bit dull perhaps? 27.11.2012
