COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Emelisse Blond is a soft and malty artisinal beer. The colour green stands for the American Cascade hop used. This gives it a hoppy and herbal flavour.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep 2012) Golden amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of apricots, citrus and a touch of yeast. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, tropical fruit, orange and a slightly yeasty finish with a fresh citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours clear golden with a bubbely, white head. Mild and pleasant hoppy aroma with citrus, fruits, malt and hints of yeast. Surprisingly mild and smooth, but still pleasantly hoppy. Alcohol is hardly noticable and this is a dangerously drinakble beer! Very well balanced with a fruity and lighty sweet start that finishes mildly bitter. A bit different IPA, not the American style, more like a hoppy blond ale.

Pours light orange and hazy. Very herbal: freshly cut grass, mint leaves, spinash, Cascade hops at its best! Smooth light palate, long finish, very good Ale. Not too hoped, close to "Corne du Diable" by Dieu du Ciel in mouth. Good balance, not too americanised IPA.

Bottle from ONK 2012. Pours a clear, sparkling, golden orange with a lasting white head, some lacing on the glass. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus and some yiest, good! Taste is fruity and somewhat sweet, with a long finish of the hop bitterness. Medium body and interesting mouth feel caused by the fair amount of carbonation. Nice refreshing beer for a sunny afternoon, pretty hoppy for a blond.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and oneven of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a yeasty thick blond and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a graphfruit touch . This beer smells to graphfruit.

Bottle from de bierkoning in amsterdam. There is not as much aroma as I am used to on a blond beer. This is however absolutely not the case when you take a sip. A full palate of tropical fruits, apricot and some bitterness and aroma from orange peels. Medium bitter, hoppy and fresh taste. Very full flavored and one of the best blond beers I know! -RoyB, Amsterdam
