COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Emelisse Blond is a soft and malty artisinal beer. The colour green stands for the American Cascade hop used. This gives it a hoppy and herbal flavour.

Draught (O’Connor’s, Uppsala) - Amber with a haze and a foamy head. Pineapple, passion fruit and grapefruit feature in the enticing and somewhat exotic and tropical aroma. Bitter, crisp and hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, peach, nectarine, papaya and lychee. Incredibly exotic taste and really tasty. Goes down a treat.

A nice beer to discover. Color: copper with gold reflexion. Smell: hops and malt with a fresh atmosphere. Head: heavy big white head. Taste: hops and malt as a great blond beer. Aftertaste: hops and sugar.

(bottle) pours a hazy deep amber colour with a billowing creamy off-white head. aroma of caramel and physalis, gooseberries, treebark and cherries, with some slightly obtrusive metallic notes. flavour is mostly bread crusts and roasted malts, with a faint hint of oranges, caramel and green leaves. medium-bodied with average carbonation and a slightly sweet finish.

Aroma of tropical fruits. Flavour of fruits and spices. Very nice IPA or blonde ale or whatever you’d call this.

Bottle from Deanso. Clear amber pour with white head. Aroma of grassy hops and fresh fruit. Grassy fruity flavor with toffee and bitter nettles coming after. Carbonation seemed a little high but still a nice ipa. Why is it called "blond"?...

Bottle: Deep golden, almost clear, big and stable yellowish head, grapefruits and pineapples in the nose, a dash of toasted malt is detectable in the background; solid, not extremely dry bitter-sweet flavour, soft and medium bodied; lingering spicy grapefruity finish with some balancing malt. Fine stuff…

Draught, Bishop Folkis, US Pint. Orange amber with a soft haze and a short bubbly cream white head that leaves a nice lace. Aroma: Creamy with caramel, sweet tropical fruit (mango, peach, some pineapple and mandarine, sweet milk. Makes me think of Piggelin also (pear ice cream). Taste:Sweet, caramel, a bit ripened fruit (mango, passionfruit, orange, mandarine), some yeast. Tasty and fruity but where is the bitterness? Dry hopping gone weak?
