4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle 330 ml at home, into a snifter. ABV 8%
Pours a very dark mahogany brown colour, with almost two fingers of dark brown head, thick, with very good retention, leaving lacing rings around the glass.
Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, cream.
Taste indeed of creme brulee, very sweet, with vanilla, lots of chocolate, some roasted malts offering just a tad of bitterness on the finish that multiplies onn the aftertaste, with good duration too.
Thick body, right amount of carbonation.
Great beer, I like having desserts every now and then and this is a liquid one.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2014 edit: typos
33cl bottle from Saveur Biere. Deep brown, thick brown head. Love the aroma, lots of vanilla, chocolate and the creme brulee notes clearly there. Then it all goes down. Flavor is a total mess, super sweet, nutella creme, vanilla overdose, soy sauce straight from the bottle. Continues in the finish. Clearly not for me. Too bad, liked the aroma.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Crème brûlée in a bottle? Well, it looks like a chocolate desert, but fair enough. ;-) Certainly a mix of sweet milky aromas with sugar and vanilla. Also quite chocolatey though. Strong sweetness, some roasted malts and hop bitterness than only kicks in at the end. Luckily, because the nice full body is prevented from getting too cloying. Alcohol isn’t found. Not too stoked on the aroma, but that’s just a personal thing. Because it’s very well made for sure. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

A black beer with an almost medium and light brown head. The nose is strongly chocolate, marzipan, some roastiness, chocolate pudding. Taste of dark chocolate, lots of roastiness, coffee, lots of herbal hops. Taste aren’t so full of chocolate than the aroma. Medium+ bodied, low carbonation Weird beer with lots of chocolate, the balance is slightly missing.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown, almost black with a medium, latte-colored head. Aroma is tons of vanilla, marshmallow, light coconut, sweet. Taste is lightly roasty with the vanilla overpowering. Light on the marshmallow. Very sweet. Full with quite a bit of carbonation. A bit too sweet. Definitely a dessert-type beer to be had on its own. Can’t imagine anything going with this.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark mahogany pour with little head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate and raisins which reminds me of butterscotch chocolate. Medium sweet taste that ends with a nice hoppy bitter. Creamy mouthfeel with little carbo. Long nice finish which gives you back the butterscotch. Nice beer, very good brewery.
