A black body with a brown head that had mild retention and decent lace. Aroma had a heavy chocolate malt presence. It had a good blend of semi sweet chocolate and bitter dark cocoa. A slight hint of caramel. Flavor was nice but it seemed to have mostly semi sweet chocolate. It wasn't one dimensional but it was close. Moderate mouth feel. Good.

Pours black. Nose really is a creme brulee. Vanilla, chocolate, caramel, sugar, smells very inviting.
Taste is more like coffee, mokka, vanilla, malt, milk.
Amazing smell, taste could've been fuller. Maybe if I let it age a bit longer this beer would benefit from that.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Solid black with a white, creamy, lacy head that settles into a nice ring. If you close your eyes you would think a crème brûlée before you. Cream, caramelized brown sugar, vanilla and milk chocolate. Did they add extract of some sort? Medium oily frothy body. Sweet taste of chocolate and malt that rounds the mouth with some soft cream, and finishes with a roasted bitter finish. The aftertaste, lingers of coffee and burnt. Its a porter with lots of sweetness. Interesting and unique but rather intense in flavour. Though I enjoy it and it get points for creativity, it doesn’t have the moreishness I want. Nice stout nonetheless.

33cl bottle at Jopen Kerk. Dark brown to black with a small off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Vanilla, caramel, brown sugar and some coffee. Great full flavoured beer, some of the best I had in times.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of intense creme brulee notes, vanilla and biscuit. Flavour of sweet vanilla, roasted malts, milk chocolate, lactose and coffee. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel and a dry, vanilla, roasty finish. Builds up towards the end quite nicely. Enjoyable.

Opaque black with a tan head. Nose is strongly butterscotch with vanilla and warm spice. Tastes of roasted malt, butterscotch and lactose-like sweetness. Some caramel and coffee notes as well. Body is full and creamy without feeling thick or oily. Very tasty and easy to drink given the abv, but may be too sweet for some. I get much more butterscotch than the custardy vanilla of a creme brulee.
