Pours orange, almost no head. Smells not IPA’ish, more like a Barley Wine. Malts & caramel are the main things I smell. Taste: again not very much IPA-like, Caramel, hops and very sweet. Too sweet.

Orange, slightly cloudy with some segments. Taste is orange, some citrus, nice sweetness, hoppy finish. Well balanced beer, really nice.

Sjohnh (246) - Coventry, West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2014
Cloudy, dark orange, initially with a big bubbly white head and subsequently some sticky lacing. Marmalade and pine smells leap out of the glass. Medium body, slightly creamy. Classic DIPA tastes - orange, peach, grapefruit. Bitter finish rounds it off gradually rather than smacking you in the face like some of the more powerful beers of this style.

Tropical fruits and hops on the aroma , with a hint of sherbet . Not as bitter as some DIPA , but still very tasty.

Deu (723) - Nantes, FRANCE - SEP 29, 2014
Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a centimeter of off-white frothy head that dissipates quickly but has light lacing. Tart and bitter mouthfeel, not very floral or fruity. Piney hops. It’s got a nice flavor but one has to appreciate the bitterness because it would seem unbalanced. Pretty solid.

Best before 6/15. Deep orange hazy colour, creamy off-white head that nicely lasts. Big tropical fruity (peach, orange, pineapple, grapefruit) hops in the nose and taste, pine, good amount of bitterness but the fruits dominate, creamy soft malts. Oily but drying aftertaste, lingering bitterness. Low carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, firm body. Very good DIPA.

Bottle @ De Paas, Den Haag. Cloudy amber colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet aroma of tropical fruit and citrus. Hoppy bitter finish. Very good DIPA!

From a 330ml bottle on 14/8/2014. Pours a cloudy golden with a medium head. Has a very pleasant aroma dominated by honey and lemon. Flavour wise, it features sweet stone fruit (peach, apricot), lots of honey, some light caramel malt, and a really assertive, lingering, resiny, slightly salty hop bitterness. The palate is quite creamy and the carbonation is average. Very balanced and packed full of flavour, I became increasingly impressed as it warmed. A very good and quite distinctive DIPA.
