Bottle, 33 cl. hazy orange with a small, descending, bubbly off-white head. Aroma of berries, white pepper, herbal hops, ryebread), wood and some fragant wheaty notes. Medium to full body, medium carbonation, dry and sugary coated mouthfeel. Flavor has a minty note, is rather vinious with notes of dried fruits aka apricots. Lingering, herbal and resinous bitter finish. By far the best Emelisse, I’ve had so far.

330. Pours a hazy burnished dark amber with a loose and sudsy white head. Sharp piercing oranges and a bit of ammonia on the nose. Very penetrating. Bread crusts, cookie dough, and light caramel as well. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, bread crusts, and light oranges on the mid palate. Long bready finish. Kinda mushy. Maybe getting old.

Bottle, bought @ Voldby Købmandsgaard.
Pours murky orange with a small, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has strawberry, somewhat herbal, light rye-like spiciness. Some wheat character. Medium carbonation, dry and very creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is vinious and warming, light apricot, strawberry, fairly herbal. Lingering, somewhat minty and very bitter finish.

golden, caramely pour. nice and creamy off-white head. strange aroma, very clean but with some unfamiliar notes. Orignal indeed, taste is also pretty non-conformist for a dipa. Almost no citrus, more peachy and fruity, but still with a close to parching bitterness towards the end. Good stuff

On tap at Borefts BF 2012, Bodegraven. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy white head. Big urine hop aroma, some dank citrus, moderate onions. Big sweet flavor with herbal grass, dank citrus fruits, sugary hay and a bit of onion. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Moderately resinous to finish with ripe and dank citrus. A touch heavy but not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2013 33 cl bottle @ BXL East. Pours cloudy orange with foamy white head. Aroma is huge of tropical fruits; mango and papaya. Taste is slightly bitter but finishes smooth. There’s some caramel/honey sweetness that balances out the bitterness. Some pine/resin flavor as well. Less bitter than American DIPAs which for me is a good thing. Enjoyable beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Drankgigant. Batch 09.14B. Hazy amber with a huge white head. Floral citrus aroma. Very bitter taste but not a very pronounced hop presence, which I kind of expected due to this being a DIPA. It’s more boozy than hoppy. Nice bitter aftertaste though. This is not the hop bomb I anticipated but still decent enough I guess.
