3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I had the 06.14 A batch. Emelisse always delivers good quality brews. Looks, carbobation and texture all flawless. Taste has few surprises but is very well balanced. Initial flowery fruits then long dry bitter finish.

Okay beer, but not as expected.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Markings are a bit inbetween numbers, so not really sure which hop this is, might be Amarillo. Cloudy pale amber. Grapefruit, orange marmelade, caramel, toast, a hint of chocolate even. Slightly sweet, with an intense bitterness. This really has a lot of hops. Body is medium to full, slightly sticky and creamy. I feel like others I’ve had were slightly lighter on the hops.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle:   Amberish, a little fiery, moderate sudsy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Powdery candyish like hopped up aroma.   Smells Danish.   Semi-sweet and dry powdery sweetness up front, muted hops, with a little pixie stix on the backside.   While not Danish, Netherlands seems close enough.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Not a real bright example, a bit candied and candyish at times with its pixie stix like powdery sweetness, its decent.   These type always come across as a homebrew example of a Double IPA.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Foggy orange-brown. Light brown medium sized head. Aroma has piny hops as one would expect. Bit on the sweet side with some citrus.
Taste is pretty well balanced. Bitter hoppy with a lingering piny aftertaste. Alcohol is well hidden. Body could use some oomph in the middle. Still a very drinkable and pleasant DIPA.
