Dark ruby-amber color, small off-white head. Sticky berryish, hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Quite witty hoppyness, light pale malty backbone, some alcohol. Long lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Decent.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning, ABV 7.9%. Slightly hazy amber colour, thin creamy off white head. Aroma of leafy hops, bitter oranges, orange peel, sugar. Flavour is bitter oranges, quite harsh leafy grassy bitterness, light malty, caramel, bitter grassy finish. Medium bodied. Not very balanced imo.

Bottle by 06/2013 (uh, isn’t this an IPA?), coming in a 7.9%. Sweet, thick doughy nose. Amber body with a short tan head. Taste is bittersweet with light resin, lightly fruity with solvent character, some caramel, mushy yeasty aftertaste. Full-bodied slurry, oily, warms the chest. The hop character is strong if a bit indistinct, lasts a long time, but there’s little pleasure in drinking this, needs way more bitterness and to dry out a ton.

330 ml bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori, Tampere.
Pours a hazy amber colour with a small white head. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel and some grassy notes. Flavour of toasted malts, solvent-like notes, bitter and harsh hops with mild fruitiness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a finish of harsh bitterness, malts and alcohol. These guys really don’t know how to make an IPA.

(bottle) pours a hazy orange colour with a frothy off-white head. fruity aroma of honeymelon, caramel, straciatella, pineapple, gooseberries and watermelon. flavour is much too sweet, with lots of sticky caramel and only a faint tropical fruitiness, finish is alcoholic and slightly bitter. medium to heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

Strong malt aroma from the neck, sweet, and sugary. I get a whiff of wet horse too, but very fleeting. Pours clear amber with a very nice thick off-white head that clings to the glass. Centennial hops? Bitter, but not too much so, flavors of malts, hops, burnt sugar, but overall a bit subtle in flavors. Not much in the middle. But seems a bit sticky for a medium bodied beer. Tasted from the bottle @ 58F.

7.9% ABV on the new label. Bottle. Orange amber color, hazy. Peach and licorice in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, full bodied, with some oily hops and licorice. Some tropical fruit, lychee maybe. Long oily hopbitter aftertaste.
