3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33cl from bierkoning thanks, A dark brown beer with low head that goes quickly. Nose is intense on barley sugar and brown bread, in the nose it’s like a german dunkel. Aroma is very malty, sweet caramel, licorice, vinous notes, brown bread, toasted malt, toffee, oily / syrupy body quite complex with even smoked notes, peppery hops at the finish with metallic hints. A very nice dubblel but more grainy malt that usual ones.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, bought @ Bierzwerg.de.
Pours deep ruby-red with a small, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has mild chocolate, prunes, plums, softly vinious. Highish carbonation, fairly light mouthfeel for the ABV. Flavour is fine, with dryish chocolate, some plums and raisins. A bit vinious and warming. Okay, even if it is a bit simple.
