The Emilisse Stout is enhance by a blend of fine Italian espresso beans used in the brewing process. It boasts a blend of 90% Arabica and 10% Robusta, which combine to give the Emilisse Espresso Stout an extra-spicy, full-bodied palate.

Fast schwarzes Bier mit ROtschimmer und kleinperligem Schaum. In der Nase Kaffee, Bitterschokolade, Kakao, leichte dunkle Früchte, Karamell. Am Gaumen süß im Antrunk, anschließend dominieren Kaffeenoten und Bitterkeit gepaart mit etwas dunklen Früchten. Cremig im Mund.

Pitch black color with a thick tan head. Rich coffee aroma. Full body. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Soft carbonation and a bit oily texture. Powerful and smoooth stuff. Rich coffee/espresso with notes of chocolate and vanilla. Maybe a bit one dimensional. But that is really nice sometimes. Lovely powerful stout. Well masked alcohol.

"Coffee pretty dominant in the nose and flavor (not that there’s anything wrong with that), but it does make for a somewhat one dimensional brew. Big n thick, chewy. Roasted malt, chocolate Carmel and a lite bitterness fight for attention user the joe."

Bottle@home. Pours dark brown, nearly black color, dark beige medium foamy head. Aroma is full of coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate. Taste is sweet, very lightly hoppy, espresso coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt, cocoa. Nice, quite long coffee medium sweet finish. Nice one.

Draught at GBBF 2014. Poured black, with a thin tan head. Aroma of treacle, dark malt and dark chocolate. Thick mouth feel. Strong flavours of syrup, burnt malt and cocoa. Finish was ash, tobacco, straw and earth.

330 ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a beige head. Aroma is loads of coffee, chocolate, roast, toasty. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, creamy, milky. Finish is coffee bitterness. Lingering bitterness. Full body, soft and mellow mouthfeel, weak to average carbonation.

330 ml bottle drank at Bistro L’Autre Oeil in Gatineau (Quebec) on August 24, 2014. Burnt, thin head. Aroma of sweet coffee and malty vanilla. Bitter sweet coffee taste, notes of chocolate and red fruits, good dry bitterness. Good solid coffee stout!

330 ml bottle Appearance:pitch black color. with hardly a head. Aroma: coffee, roasted maltsand a hint of dark chocolate and soy Taste: Starts sweet, but then becommes quite more bitter and less sweet Powerfull coffee, barley malts just balances inicely. Some earthy elements of nuts in the finish and a nice esperesso aftertaste that lasts long.. Allover you get the taste palate associated with a good espresso. smooth, oily mouthfeel, medium-bodied.
