3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Burned coffee, some red fruits smell. Very dark brown, like black at the glass. Small head, just a lace, but stays good, and sticks nice to the glass. Tastepalate is a bit simple, but good. Nice burned taste, biterness is ok, not to much. Roasted-sweet that goes to light bitter. Decent.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
6 Stale coffee grounds aroma, quite burnt and bitter.
4 Jet black, doesnít raise a head easily at all.
7 Bitter coffee retronasals. Very dark burnt taste, very dominated by he coffee, but a bit lacking in the beer.
4 Sticky and full palate, carbonation low.
14 Whilst itís tasty, the beer hides too much behind the coffee. 10% is unbelievable. Not a brilliant beer, but to get this drinkability out of such a strong stout is excellent. Anna liked it a lot (despite the rumours of a 3.2 rating, she claims that itís now 3.7!)
