UPDATED: APR 15, 2014 Ruikt heerlijk, koffie, karamel, chocola.geen schuim, donker. Hele sterke koffie smaak. Wel lekker maar nauwelijks bier te noemen. Iced espresso is t :) In paultje wel schuim. Toch ook wel bierig

Bottle from De Hopduvel, Gent, Belgium. I was worried that the Espresso taste will ruin the the taste of the beer but no I still have that Imperial Stout taste I like.

12oz bottle pours a murky, deep amber with a ring of beige head. Nose has rubber, hints of booze, mild bread, some brandy, a little dehydrated apple. Flavor has bread, mild woody notes, brandy, a little vegetal, bitter green coffee cherries. Full bodied, rubbery finish.

- Alcoholpercentage van 10% - Smakelijk biertje destijds gedronken - Complimenten aan de brouwerij- en brouwmeester - Nog geen topper, maar wel de hoge waardering die verdiend is ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Pours dark brown. Above medium amount of white head, at least compared to other imperial stouts. Medium bitter. Hints of sour taste. Chocolate, coffee, some raisins and licorice and a very, very slight pepper flavour. Medium to full body. Thick texture. Dry and bitter finish. Soft carbonation.

black colour, typical stout head. Strong coffee notes, caramel sweetness is present, smooth pleasant finish. Quite surprised when I noticed this beer has 9,5% alcool.
