An absolute unique beer. Very, very strong taste, not to be taken lightly. Could be a really fine dessert beer, but I found it a little to much for my liking.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2015 Good but not great body.Nose: Lots of dark roast coffee. Chocolate. Some hops coming through. Little bit of booze too. Most dominant aroma is coffee though.Taste: Again, lots of coffee. Coffee-bitterness. Good hop-bitterness. Little bit boozy again. Would like this beer a lot more if the booze was more hidden. Decent carbonation. Expected more from this!

On tap at Arendsnest. Dark brown pour with a kaki head. Big expresso bouquet. Lots of expresso and bitter dark roasted malts. Good body and mouthfeel.

Keg at Arendsnest, 7th May 15. Deep dark, fairly well balanced, nice coffee, good liquorice comes through. Nice Stout, not as good as the white label stuff

Bottle. Appearance: dark brown colour with beige foam. Aroma: nice but not very strong, coffee, roasted malts. Taste: lots of roasted coffee, bitter chocolate, hint of caramel. Rich and a bit sweet. Bitter finish. Very good!

Coffee black pour with a decent off-white head. Roasted malt and coffee aromas, but not very potent. Flavor is a bit more spicy than expected, and the espresso is definitely predominant. Not a bad offering, and the alcohol is masked extremely well.

Riktigt gott!

Pours dark brown. Tan head, rapidly disappearing. Stands up to its name: aroma is espresso, cola nut, cocoa. Creamy and rich. Nice bitterness, round, long-lingering, very persistent.

Rich deep dark brown coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, alcohol, chocolate (dark) and a bunch of coffee. Medium to Full-bodied; Very strong roasted malt flavour with a coffee and pungent bitter vanilla flavour with a lot of chocolate noticeable. Aftertaste has a large coffee presence with alcohol, roasted malt and vanilla around as well, fairly bitter from the coffee. Overall, a nice beer with a ton of coffee and chocolate notes and more roasted malt and alcohol flavours than I expected. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Southern Season in Charleson, South Carolina yesterday on 19-April-2015 for US$5,29 sampled in my hotel room here in Charleston, South Carolina on 20-April-2015.

Sprawia to wrażenie konsumowania mocnego, likieru słodowego z lekko kawowym posmakiem.

Dark brown colour with light brown head. Aroma of caramel, but prevails coffee. Flavour is the same. Prevails notes of coffee with reminiscences caramel in aftertaste. Good brew but not superlative.
