An absolute unique beer. Very, very strong taste, not to be taken lightly. Could be a really fine dessert beer, but I found it a little to much for my liking.

In bottiglia. Colore bruno con lontano riflesso marrone. Ottima schiuma cappuccino, alta e cremosa/pannosa. Olfatto di luppolo, caffè, malto speziato, resina e lievito. Carbonazione soffice, attiva.

Bottle from Maakun, many thanks! Pours black with mid sized beige head. Big espresso aroma with some dark, dried fruits, chocolate, roast and molasses. Chocolate and coffee taste with some vanilla, roast and a little bit of warming alcohol. Solid.

On tap at Koht. Pitch black colour. Thin layer of beige froth on top. Creamy notes, lots of coffee, coffee beans in the aroma. Creamy notes, strong coffee at first. Hints of caramel, sour coffee beans in the middle. Creamy notes and coffee in the end. Spicy, slightly alcocholy aftertaste. Lots of coffee. Well balanced, heavy bodiwd, but well drinkable stout.

Bottle. Dark brown with strong white head. Chocolate, vanilla, whiskeyish smokey alcohol. Coffee with cream and a touch of alcohol. Smooth and stout yet somewhat watery. I may be in love.

BOTTLE 33 CL. BB SEP-2016. Pitch black, medium espresso head. Smell sweet - dark molasses, sweet dried prunes, burnt sugar, some earthy hops. Not much coffee. The taste starts just as sweet, but soon balances out, and finishes with a robust grassy bitterness. A sweeter, less roasty kind of impy. And where’s the coffee?

Zwart bier met beige schuim. Geur: overheersend koffie, koffie ristretto, fondant chocolade. Smaak: koffie, bitter, brood. Redelijke koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: bitter, koffie en Merci chocolade coffee and cream. Zeker lekker voor een koffieliefhebber.

Drank with Kaspar while hanging out at my place 12-5-16. Full body. Taste is pretty explosive, very nice. Good beer. Rich coffee (not one-dimensional) and full body.

Bière découverte dans la Saveur Box. Bière noire opaque. Effluves d’olive noire. Au goût le café est très présent.

Black pour, thin head. Burnt aroma. Nice semi-burned espresso boogie. Not too much. Thick, strong, dry. Maybe some bread, vanilla, coffee bean. Nice long aftertaste.

Almost pitch black, medium tan head, good lacing. Aroma is of chocolate and roasted malt, strong coffee beans. Taste is medium sweet dark chocolate, roasted coffee, strong coffee beans, dry coffee medium bitter finish and lasting espresso aftertaste, some roasty acidity. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, creamy. It is indeed an Espresso. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)
