Deep and glowing brown body and creamy but small, beige head. Rich aroma, lots of spices and yeast. Pecan nuts and forest hops. Low carbonation and a bit sticky; smooth. Taste is fairly sweet and yeasty, but also quite some spice. The overall feel of this bock is with lots of powerful ingredients. (33cl bottle from De Bierwinkel Leiden)

On tap in De Koffer. Poured a cloudy, murky brown with a minimal tan head which quickly disappeared. Aroma of caramel malt, flavour of malt, coffee and a bit of chocolate, but not very well balanced. Underwhelming.

Bottle from Bierkoning at home. Hazy brown pour with a medium beige head and a ton of lumpy sediment in the bottom. Aroma of dark fruits, raisins, bread, malt and light chocolate. Flavour contains roasted malts, slight tart fruit, coffee, chocolate, caramel and nuts. The finish is a lingering tartness and bitterness not as nice as the initial flavour.
