COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A brown bottom fermented beer. Full bodied. brewed with munchener, pils and caramel malt. Spalter and Saaz hops.Fermented with Whitelabs WLP 838 yeast.

Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dusty, wood, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100220]

Bottled. Murky reddish amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some nuttyness, mild caramel and some slight grassyness. Flavour is caramel, bread, some earth, herbs and mild nuttyness. Quite pleasant bock, and actually feels quite much like a lager.

2009 bottle, 7.5%. Vinous rye bread aroma, bit of soy. Clear dark brown colour, hint of red. Very small head, seems white. The flavour is roasted, slightly yeasty, especially in the finish. Vinous touch.
