3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sebletitje (4394) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 29, 2012
33cl bottle from DeMolen biershop. BB 03/2013.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Eructoblaster (2122) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 21, 2012
Bottle - 330ml. Cloudy dark brown body with a thin beige creamy head. Complex, well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with fruity, yeasty, and caramel hints. Alcohol is very well hidden. Awesome, robust, complex taste carries vineous/plummy, oaky, and subtle bourbon notes. Ends with a long, warming bittersweet finish. Wonderful Doppelbock!
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rand (820) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 12, 2012
Bottle 33 cl from erzbierschof.ch. Red-brown beer opaque, short beige foam, no sparkling. Aromas of chocolate, toffy-molasses, vanilla. The taste is very soft, bittersweet with barley XXL and sugar-molasses. Intense chocolate, raisin, Madeira and oily texture. Syrupy beer, no fizz, nutritive, low acid, feel alcohol, no subtlety. Spicy bitterness in finale. Cram of malt and alcohol, this is not always the right way.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Boutip (3467) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 7, 2012
Bottle: Poured a hazy brown color bock with a medium foamy head with light retention and no lacing. Aroma consists of caramelized sugar with notes of dry cereal. Taste is also a mix between some dry cereal notes and some light residual sugar notes. Body is a bit light for style with medium carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Lacking body and sweetness with no interesting ester – not something I would seek again.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 omhper (15964) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 21, 2012
Bottled, at tasting at _angst_. Hazy mahogany colour, mid sized head. Caramelly nose with some salty licorice. Full bodied with soft mouthfeel. Caramelly and intensely warming, mid-bitter peppery finish.Judging from the name "Imperial Doppelbock" I feared this beer would a messy, boozy train wreck. That certainly wasn’t the case, this is nice.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 SlovakSniper (1367) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 9, 2012
By the way, la méthadone ne me fait plus d’effet.
