Very dark black color, almost no head. Low carbonation. Strong cholocate smell, some licorice, spices and alcohol. Strong wood taste, earth, coffee, chocolate. Love the aroma!

THX! to Martinus! 33 cl. unlabelled bottle @ Kulminator (gave some to Dirk). Tried during RBESG 2013. Black some mocha head only on the sides. Nose is sweet whiskey, smooth chocolate, coffee, liquorish, only light liquorish,… Taste is sweet whiskey, chocolate, incredibly smooth, sweet roast, touch liquorish (quite nice), sweet mocha, light booze, thick sugar, only light accompanying peat notes,… Lovely as all the other white label brews. Emelisse remains one of the kings – maybe even the king of this king of RIS whiskey BA goodies. This is no exception. Bowmore seems so far like by far the weakest & most disappointing Islay whiskey but this is still ace. Wonderful work.

Deep oily black color, with beige foam. Aromas of wood, whiskey, smokiness. Roasted malts, a hint of vanilla, smoked malts and whiskey in taste. Strong long alcoholic aftertaste. Very nice beer, but for sure a one to share,

Black, brown head. Superbly balanced imperial stout. Full bodied, smooth, with soft roasted malts mild coffee and the right amount of bowmore.

Hele lekkere geur. Zwart, met koffiekleurig schuim. Smaak en structuur heel speciaal. Geen gewoon biertje dus maar heel lekker!

0.33l bottle. Deep dark brown color, thin dark beige head. Aroma of whisky, alcohol, perfume, spices, and burnt malt. On my tongue I can feel respectively: sweet caramel, burnt malt, and bitter hopped whisky with coffee. The closing one is really heavy and lasts pretty long. Overall, this thing is strong and drinkable, so be circumspect...

Bottle 33cl. Black witt mocca creamy head. Looks very nice. Nose: Peat, vanilla, dark chocolate and hints of concentrated espresso. This is promising... And what a taste.... Creamy, concentrated, and extremely rich. English liquorice is as well present. Waht a great beer this is.

Tap at t’Arendsnest. Pitch black with a brown creamy head leaving excellent lacing. Coffee, tobacco, chocolate, dark dried fruits, roasted malts and peaty/smokey hints fill the nose invitingly. Rich roasted notes, burnt malts and whisky caress the mouth smoothly with alcohol, bitter and sweet flavors. Full body. Medium carbonation. Oily texture with a dry roasted finish. A powerfull but well balanced dring fit for a strong but fair tsar.
