Borefts Beer Festival 3. Opaque black beer, residual tan head. Light semi dry palate. Minerals. The dark malt is not too heavy and has a touch of lacto sweetness. The smoke is also quite mild. What could have been a difficult beer is quite light and drinkable.

Borefts 2011. Peat aroma, like a skibsøl. Black colour. Small brown head. Imperial skibsøl. A bit rough. Too peaty for me, I guess.

Boreft Beer Festival 2011: Black with a small tan head. Aroma of meaty smoke, licorice and caramel. Sweet malty flavour with licorice and chocolate and again, lovely meaty smoke, not heavy medicinal.
