On bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika- a while back. Black color , almost no foam. Not much carbonation , high viscosity. Roasted aromas, licorice, coffee and some malt; medium/ high aroma intensity. Good bitterness & balance. Very enjoyable

Davvero golosa.

Bottle. Pours a pure black. Head is small at first, getting larger - chocolate milk, dense, creamy and great lacing. Nose is caramel, choco, coffee, dark fruit. Full mouthfeel and heavy bitter. Full body of roasted coffee and chocolate, and a long bitter finish. Taste that sticks, super impressive. A stout you can sink your teeth into!

Bottle. Very dark brown - almost black, average and mostly diminishing light brown head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel, roasted malt and faint salty licorice, light hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, light caramel, roasted malt, light coffee and light hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty and sweetish, lots of roasted malt, light coffee and faint licorice, some hoppyness. Well roasted IS but still too sweet for me. Not too much coffee though.

Bottle 33 cl. Black beer with little dark brown head. Slight metal smell, which luckily quickly disappeared. Taste has hints of coffee and dark sugar. Very creamy and well balanced hop. Bitter finish. A really nice beer

33cl bottle Appearance: Dark black beer with a small dark brown head. Aroma: Roasted &Caremelised malts, chocolate, coffee,, licorice Taste: Stron bitter sweet from the start with Roasted Malts coffee, from the start but some nice fruity hops and , vanilla tones in the finish. Taste is huge and nicely balanced but it mixes the complexity to score even higher maybe the BA versions will bring that ? Medium -to full body, soft carbonation, creamy texture

Sampled from bottle. Pours a dark brown to black body. Low dense light brown head. Inviting roasted malt to the nose. Well rounded with creamed coffee and fine chocolate tones. Also some fruity hop tones. Full body. Soft and creamy on the palate. More prominent roastiness in the flavor. Coffee- and choco-accented with notes of licorice and soot. Firm fruity and light resinous bitterness. Lasting malty- and hop-bitter ending. Great stuff.

Pours a black beer with a nice dark brown head that stays for quite long at 11% abv. Smells roasted and cofee esque. Tastes roasted and bitter. Has a really strong flavour just as I like it. A amazing beer to slowly sip from and enjoy the complexity.

33cl bottle. The beer is pitch black with small brown head. NOSE : black chocolate, delicate toffee, lactic notes, nuts, cheese, corn puffs, tart, burned caramel, honey. SIP : thick with delicate carbonation. Obviously it’s a malty beer with typical for this style burned notes. Mostly black chocolate or milk coffee. It is sweet. It has a moderate dryness comparable to freshly brewed coffee. The alcohol is well hidden. Aftertaste is mud and dry cocoa like. OVERALL : the consistency is almost like an eggnog with lots of cocoa and a moderate amount of sugar. Booze is well hidden for 11%. It is a delicious IRS.
