10.10.2014. Looks great. Strong coffee aroma with cocoa and plenty or roasted and burnt malts. Dark fruits. Taste is fruity dry, roasted, surprisingly smooth for the abv. Soft, rich. Gentle bitterness. Slightly oily. Very nicely balanced, not too heavy but full and rich. More on the dryish bitter side.

ovviamente scura, con schiuma marrone a grana grossolana/media abbastanza spessa che si riduce ad un sottile livello, comunque persistente..aroma sensazionale: frutta sotto spirito, caffè,alcune note di liquirizia, sostanzialmente sentori molto dolci (luppoli assenti)..gusto all’inizo dolce, rispecchia le sensazioni dell’aroma, finale decisamente amaro (tostato pronunciato)..corpo pienissimo e carbonazione media...wow!!!!!!

Bardzo przyzwoity RIS. Wręcz taki wzorcowy i sympatyczny.

Bottle, black opaque body, bubbly head the color of espresso crema, decent lacing. Aroma is dried plums, cherries, cookie dough, molasses, burnt sugar. Taste is molasses, figs, coffee, cherries, burnt sugar, anise. Palate is a little light, carbonation properly subdued. Fairly sweet in the middle, finish is almost dry, but not really. Warm going down.

Bottle. Pours black with almost no head. Aroma is fig, anise, cocoa and brown sugar. Taste follows and adds great caramel, toffee and roast notes. Body is a little on the thin side but the finish is long. Delicious.

Roasting aroma. Black colour with thick dark brown foam made of mixed bubbles. Powerful stout taste. Creamy mouthfeel. Strong ABV. Probably the darkest and bitterest stout I’ve tried so far. Could be too much for some people.

Uma das melhores stout que já experimentei. Nem parece que tem 11% de alcool. Um pouco enjoativa por causa do doce. Muito boa.

330ml bottle BB Dec 2015, which I think makes this a 2012 vintage. Black, big foamy tan head doesn’t endure long. Aroma has piney hop, cocoa powder, rose petal. Body is medium, a little foamy, low carbonation. Taste is treacle, liquorice, drying roasted malts, some sharp hop and alcohol. Sharp booze. An aggressive beer. Still quite raw - could do with a couple more years I think.
