Sweet chocolate and hardroasted malt flavoured just beneath. Distinct roasted and hops bitterness coming through. Mild cidic touch from the roasted malt although the flavour is rather smooth. Bottle from Birratrovo, Como
Pours black and oily, with low carbonation and almost no head. Nice blend of chocolate, roasted malt and coffee aroma; hints of alcohol too. Full bodied, round mouthfeel, with very rich chocolate flavor, and quite strong liquorice too; moderate residual sweetness.
Very good; thick and quite sweet; maybe too much liquorice for me.
