Bottle. The milkshake head on this thing made it look like a dessert, and I wasnít disappointed! Thick, milky, creamy, and rich with dark chocolate, this is a dreamy, warming beer, and an excellent way to cap the evening during this downpour thatís knocked out my satellite reception. Could be a new favorite (except itís a little pricey here). Exceptional.

From bottle. A rich aroma with alcohol, raisins and chocolate. The foam is weak and looks pink. The appearance is darkbrown-black. The main taste has a firm bitterness and even som more sweet. In the aftertaste the sweets stays and the bitter grows. This beer has lots of body. A great beer!

Boom boom; out go the lights! This is one serious beer. Poured at a good temperature with an medium size, tan, foamy, frothy, sudsy head with brown highlights and a little lace. Aroma is a little mild and has malt, coffee, cocoa, roasty, dark ripe fruit, molasses. Flavorís like nose, Bitter, sweet, and mild tang are very well balaanced and marry in harmony with just the right body and carbonaton. Finish is like flavor, of average length, and has a little boozy warmth. Understated greatness.

0,75 l botle at the Deltabier festival march 2010. Due to the roasted malts this beer has a very explicit dark coffee taste. Low carbon and nice black colour Good balanced.

300 ml. Opaque black with a lasting thin film of cream. Aroma of espresso with cream, cookie dough, berries, and cocoa. Heavy body is just right: not too sticky, not too thin; smooth as silk; and dangerously chuggable with a barely noticeable 11% abv! Beautiful soapy lacing. Flavor is an excellent blend of espresso, Oreo cookie, bread dough, dark fruit, tart berry, sour cream, cured tobacco, prickly green herb, and slight char.

Another great beer from this brewery. Pours near black with an oak-brown foam. Chocolate and coffee dominate, but with hints of licorice. The high alcohol is surprisingly disguised.

Bottle 0,33l Color: Black. Wonderfull and huge, pale brown foam, staying all the time, perfectly lacing glass. Aroma: Dark chocolate, delicacies, raisins, a bit roasted malts and coffee - really like it. After heating aroma changing and itís smell like mature tropical fruits, tangerines. Taste: delicious, very complex. Dark chocolate with raisins, a little coffee and roasted malts, everything mixed witch hoppy bitterness. Long warming, sweet & bitter finish. Full body. Thick and oily texture. Though heavy nature and high alcohol volume - very drinkable beer.

Pours black with huge brown head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, grass, pinecones. Taste is chocolate fudge, coffee, caramel, raisins and a solid bitterness that lasts long into the finish. Incredibly full-bodied and thick. Really delicious world-class RIS.

Black with stable creamy beige head. Aroma: lot of dark fruits and dark chocolate. Taste: medium chocolate sweetness and quite heavy, little bit roasty, bitterness. Medium body, medium to low carbonation. Well composed beer. Suprisingly drinkable and "light".
