Det här var en bra öl, riktigt bar öl men den upplevdes som både väl balanserad och spretig på samma gång. Smaken innehöll mycket rostade toner och vanilj.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cantabrian (387) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 10, 2013
Black as a telephone, but with a very weak head. The aromas are very courteous and gentle, never on the alcoholic or hoppy side, just with a sweet chocolate, plums, raisins, peaches and a touch of leather. The flavours are less merciful, with strong alcohol carrying along the chocolates, coffee, soy sauce, vegemite and a not-too-roasty bitterness. Thin chalky, the finish is more gentle than the combo of pungency that comes out on a mouthful. Perhaps the complexity could have been more appealing had the alcohol taste been a bit less obvious.
