33cl bottle @ home. Hazy copper amber color, minimal but long lasting beige head. Aroma honey, biscuit, flower, malt, with citrus and grapefruit in the flavor, also yeasty. Taste medium sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Full body, sticky texture, average carbonation, moderated medicine bitter finish, refreshing. It’s like a good IPA, I hardly believe it’s a bock. So far the best in the style.

33cl bottle at home from BierNavigatie. Pale dark orange with a small white soapy head. Medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Bitter with some sweet tones and a very bitter aftertaste. Hops, grapefruit, citrus and herbs. A decent IPA’ish bock.

33cl bottle Appearance: Orange with a small head (1 finger), ok retention, no lacing Aroma: Flowers, grass, caramelised malts Taste: Floral hops, light grapefruit ,grass and light toasted and caramelised malts. soft carbontion, medium bod. Not your typical Heller bock. Actually Heller bock meets IPA. And I like that.

Sampled from bottle. Deep gold colored with a slight haze. Mid-sized blond top. Yellow fruits and flowers and grassy hops to the nose. Faint toasted malts. Medium full, fairly dry in the mouth. Soft toasted malt flavor some residual sugars. Fruity flavors as well. Clean bitterness all the way throughout. A nice take on a Heller Bock.

Pours a hazy dark golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, sweet caramel, citrus, hops. Flavour is medium sweet with some hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Really nice IPA.

On tap at Haand Festival. As Spring Bock. It’s almost clear, golden-orange in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma has peaches, a generic fruityness, tropical fruits and sweetness. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, with sweetness to bring some balance, as well as both tropical fruits and fruits from less hot places. Full body, dryish with a nice carbonation. Bitter finish. A pleasant and tasteful bock, a bit sweet though, but with a nice although untraditional fruityness. 130525

Smells nice, hoppy malty and a bit sweet. Nice clear amber color with a white cloudy head. No saturation. Tastes great, malty, fresh and floral. Full palate but nice and gentle aftertaste

Hazy amber with a medium, frothy, lacy, disappearing, white. Smells of toasted malt that fills the nose, spices, straw and grapefruit. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Tastes of nice toasted malt, caramel, light herbal notes, and grass bitter finish. A fresh easy to drink, wonderfully soft hopped beer.
