Bought a bottle @ ACBF 2012. Pours amber with a thin creamy head. Slightly hoppy nose, aroma’s of caramel, honey & marzipan. Taste not too sweet, not too bitter. Palate OK, not great, overall decent. I do taste simcoe hops, but no amarillo’s.

- Alcoholpercentage van 7,5% - Smakelijk biertje destijds gedronken - Complimenten aan de brouwerij- en brouwmeester - Nog geen topper, maar wel de hoge waardering die verdiend is ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very good as you can expect from this brewer. Nice hazy deep orange with a small head and medium carbonation. nice development of flavors. It starts rich slightly sweet with lots of malt and overripe fruit and goes to a long dry finish with resinous bitter hops.

Hopfig getreidiger Antrunk, mild bitter. Dabei steigert sich die Bitterkeit in Mittelteil, der Hopfen wird grasig. Dezent blumig, sehr rund. Gut! 11/11/11/12/11/12

Copper hazy, white head. Smell of hay, caramel, dark fruits and dark malts. Moderate to medium sweet, super fruity of malts, some dark malts and fruity hops, even some citrus. Medium bitter finish. Awsome bock!

Thanks bierkoning! Hazy amber color, good beige head. Citrus, fruits, pineapple in the hoppy nose. Also hints of yeast. Medium-bodied. Tropical fruity and grapefruity hoppy flavor. Traditionally Dutch bocks are ales but this is a lager which tastes like an ale. Certainly new generation, American style "doublebock", lots of citrusy-fruity hops in this one.

33cl bottle @ home. Hazy copper amber color, minimal but long lasting beige head. Aroma honey, biscuit, flower, malt, with citrus and grapefruit in the flavor, also yeasty. Taste medium sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Full body, sticky texture, average carbonation, moderated medicine bitter finish, refreshing. It’s like a good IPA, I hardly believe it’s a bock. So far the best in the style.

33cl bottle at home from BierNavigatie. Pale dark orange with a small white soapy head. Medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Bitter with some sweet tones and a very bitter aftertaste. Hops, grapefruit, citrus and herbs. A decent IPA’ish bock.
