3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20 PotjeBier (525) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - APR 4, 2012
33 cl bottle (from De Bierkoning) @ home. Color is as good as black. Firm beige head, sticky. Aroma’s of smoke(d fish), leather, peat, dark malts, roast. Flavor is light sweet, smoked, medium bitter. Feels a bit thin on the palate, perhaps because of fine bubbles. Finishes with smoke & bitter. Why is this such a limited brew?
