Clear dark purple brown beer, big creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: mocha, caramel, coffee, toast, bit nutty, cow fodder. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, hoppy, mocha, dark chocolate, coffee, some caramel. Aftertaste: burnt toast, little sweet, coffee, caramel, bitter hops, some citrus.

Pitch black weak head with some bubbles.
Smell is leather with coffee, pure chocolate and some breadiness.
Bitter watery taste. Full body with chocolate/coffee bitterness. Subtle wood and leather. Quite fresh considering the smell, with a dry astringent finish.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is big roast, some coffee, liquorice and more. Flavour is roasty, chocolate, coffee, malty caramel. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Nice.

Medium sized beige to light brown foamy head on top of a black colored beer.
Aromas of coffee, roast, bread/rye, some chocolate, dried leaves and dried leave toast, some dark pure chocolate and a hint of ash.
Flavours are a mix of marzepin, nuts, roast, coffee, bitter, dried herbal tones and bitters, bit dry, dried leaves, some gras and hay tones, some chocolate, malt roast, hint of spices, light creamy and some wood roast.
Aftertaste is dry with a lingering bitterness with dried leaves, toast/roast, some coffee, chocolate and some grass.
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, full bodied and a creamy texture.
Wow, dry, roasty, bitter. Very well executed porter. Would love to chug this an evening long! Well done!

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2013 Bottle shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus @ Dutchdrebus 3000 ratings tasting. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized light brown head. Aroma and taste are malts, roasted malts, moderately coffee, nicely bitter. Could have used a bit more viscosity imo, but certainly a fine beer. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ home thx to benzai. Pitch black colour with a small off-white to beige head. Smells roasty, coffee, chocolate.. All pretty subtle though. Tastes coffee, roasty, chocolate.. Also pretty subtle. Medium body, soft carbo.

Nose is light roast, brown sugars, earthy, cocoa powder.
Taste comprises dark chocolate, toffee, earthy, light roast.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish.
Ok porter, fairly simple but well done.
