Good porter. Nice dark color with a small head. flavor is accessible: burned malts, coffee and cacao. Very little sweetness. Aftertaste is bitter but not hop bitterness.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown, almost black colour with a small head. Aroma of biscuit, dark chocolate and some herbs. Flavour of roasted malts, harsh grainy notes, coffee, dark chocolate and grassy bitterness. Medium bodied and quite strong bitter finish. Good.

Bottle 33cl, Geers. Pours clear dark brown, small head. Roasted nose, true black roasted malt aroma, some chaff & some grist. Coffee like. Taste mostly malt bitter, but balanced. Very slick typical Emelisse MF. Medium to low carbonation. Good.

Habanero (2753) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK - APR 10, 2014
Bottled. Pours deep brown with an average, creamy, lacing and tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, herbal hopschocolate and coffee notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and pleasant bitter. Medium bodird, oily to creamy texture and soft carb. A very nice Porter.

light beige head disappears quite fast with lacing. coffee coloured. aroma is roasted malts, slight smokey, bit nutty, some esters, hint boozy. taste is roasted malts, bit nutty, some esters afteraste is coffee bitter that lingers and ends with dry mouthfeel. medium body and carbonation. bottle 33 cl / bbf dec-2014

Pours black color with a good off-white head that keep a nice lacing until the end. Aroma is weak roasted malt. Despite the weak aroma, the flavor is marking, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and caramel. Low carboantion and medium to full body with a sweet coffee bitterness.

Tap at Jeffrey. Pours deep brown with small head. Nose is cocoa and some smoke. Tastes of cocoa powder, cola, piney hops, herbal, some bacon smoke, and anise. Medium bodied. Finish drops off

33cl bottle Appearance: very dark brown with a small white head. Aroma: Piny hops, roasted and caramelised malts, liquorice, coffee. Taste: Quite bitter, by all the roasted tones, chocolate and coffee and the slight piny hops.Aftertaste is dry with a lingering bitterness Medium body, average caarbonation. Good porter.
